Adaptive Skate Trial
Service Description
No skating experience is necessary! Drop in and try your first class free! Limit to one trial per skater. The Adaptive Skating program teaches children (ages 3-18) with disabilities how to ice skate! The program is hosted by Chicago Edge Adaptive Skating and held at the Darien Sportsplex. Skaters receive 40 minutes of on-ice and off-ice instruction with our volunteers and coaching staff. Our coaching staff is made up of highly experienced skating athletes with elite level background. We offer a 1:1 Student-to-Instructor ratio. Because of our low student-instructor ratio and small, intimate classes, limited spots are available! Students must bring a helmet. We also recommend gloves, snow pants, a jacket, and non-plastic elbow/knee/butt pads.
