Program Details

The Chicago Edge Adaptive Skating program offers ice skating lessons for children and teens ages 3 to 18 with disabilities! Each student enjoys 40 minutes of instruction alongside our dedicated volunteer buddies.

We ensure a personalized learning experience with a 1:1 Skater-to-Instructor/Buddy ratio. The program fee is $200 for 8 skate sessions which covers skate rental at no additional cost.

No prior skating experience is required! Students are required to bring a helmet, and we recommend gloves, snow pants, a jacket, and non-plastic elbow/knee/butt pads for added safety.

All classes are held on Tuesdays. All classes incorporate on-ice and off-ice exercise and instruction. Due to our small class sizes and personalized attention, spots are limited!

Participants should have physical mobility and communication skills, either verbal or non-verbal, and parents must be present throughout the lessons.
